I found this story on the www.bbc.co.uk/news website, i found it ideal to base a thriller on as it contained murder and gory details.
I would use this information in my Thriller by ellaborating on the detail of how he killed his victim. The background of his crime would help create quite a long story, and even use mystery and twists.
